shrimplord are the orange rili in that starter colony kept at the same TDS 140 as your other lines? thinking of a tub colony.
mossboss listing doesn't give a TDS for the rilis, it just says they multiply fast in stable water. the neos here run 140 and the rilis are the same tough type, so stable matters more than the number. message me if you want to go through it.
shrimplord thanks for the straight answer on the rilis, i'll keep my tub steady and see how it goes. thinking about bidding.
riverina steady is the whole game with rilis. bid if you want them, happy to answer anything by message.
shrimplord are the starter rilis mixed sizes all the way down to tiny, or mostly adults? thinking of a bid for my second tub.
brackishbabe listing says mixed sizes with young berried females likely, so a spread rather than all adults. message me if you want me to go through what to expect.
shrimplord thanks, a spread is actually what i wanted for the tub. placing a bid.
quick heads up for anyone eyeing the rilis: i feed lightly and they do best if you keep the water steady for the first couple weeks. ask away if you want the rundown.
shrimplord bid in on the rilis, a spread of sizes is what I wanted for my second tub.
bids are climbing nicely on the rilis. one thing, they're a bit smaller than bloody marys at the same age so don't judge the size spread too early.
shrimplord do the berried females in the twenty usually hold through shipping or drop eggs? curious before i bid.
coralcass listing says mixed sizes with young berried females likely, so it's likely not guaranteed. most hold fine if the drip is slow, message me if you want to talk shipping.
shrimplord how much smaller are the rilis vs a bloody mary of the same age? trying to decide if i should bid for my starter tub.
dan listing says mixed sizes with young berried females likely. like i said above they run a bit smaller than bloody marys at the same age, that's just how rilis are. nothing wrong with them.
shrimplord good to know on the berried ones. does the drip time change when they're that small and mixed size?
reefwitch same slow drip, around two hours is what i do for all my shrimp. the small ones handle it fine, it's the swings that hurt them.
shrimplord are the berried females in the lot already carrying eggs or is it likely they'll berry after they settle? thinking about bidding for a tub.
riverina listing says young berried females likely, so i can't promise any are carrying right now. in stable water they berry up fast once they settle.
shrimplord 13 bids on the rilis, ok i'm bidding. do the mixed sizes include any juveniles under a centimeter or are they all past that?
riverina listing says mixed sizes with young berried females likely, so that's what i'm promising. i don't count juveniles by size, message me and i'll send a pic of the bag contents.
shrimplord fair, pic of the bag contents is all i'd want too. riverina good luck on the bidding, 13 bids is wild for a starter colony.
riverina you're leading on the rilis? they're stable in TDS 120 to 150 water, so if yours runs higher just drip them slow like you did on the bloody marys.
shrimplord yep leading for now, my tap runs around 180 so i'll drip them over a few hours like the bloody marys. thanks for the heads up.
anyone watching the rilis, ends in 13h and the last few bids came quick. bag pic is available by message if you want to see sizes first.
in on the rilis, 25 bids is crazy for twenty shrimp. shrimplord are the berried ones in the bag already carrying eggs or just likely?
mossboss listing says young berried females are likely, so i can't promise a count. bag pic is available by message if you want to see sizes first.
shrimplord is the rili colony shipped with the moss they're sitting on or just the shrimp in water? setting up a 10 gallon and want to know what to prep.
pete listing is just the twenty orange rili, mixed sizes. no moss in the bag. a few days of biofilm in the tank before they arrive is all you need to prep.
shrimplord are the rilis from a pure orange line or do you cull for the clear sections too? 28 bids says people want them. thinking of bidding for a 10 gallon.
coralcass listing says clean pattern separation between the orange and clear sections, mixed sizes, young berried females likely. that's what i'm promising, message me if you want the bag pic.
29 bids and 5 hours left, this one is getting spicy. good luck everyone.
shrimplord ok that's what i needed, bid placed. hoping the rilis settle fast in my 10.
shrimplord 35 bids on twenty rilis, you really did start something. hope whoever wins keeps the water steady, they pay you back fast.
shrimplord 36 bids on twenty rilis is wild. hour left, anyone still sitting on their hands?
