Description
Dime-size koi angels from my home spawn, six available. Orange crowns are already showing and the whites are clean. Eating crushed flake and baby brine. These were raised with the parents in the tank, very confident little fish.

Quick one for anyone eyeing these: the six are raised with the parents so they're used to a busy tank. Dime-size is small though, so feed baby brine a few times a day for the first couple weeks.
finandfry do the koi angels take regular flake yet or only crushed? thinking of adding them to a 55 with tetras, so dime size might get bullied.
plantedpete listing says they eat crushed flake and baby brine, and they were raised with the parents in the tank so they're used to company. tank mate specifics I'd go over by message.
finandfry thanks for the answer earlier. if I take all six, are they fine going into a 55 with tetras once they grow out a bit, or should I hold them back first?

finandfry the last reply just says placeholder, think it posted wrong. no rush, just wondering if the six can go into the 55 with tetras after a grow-out.
pete ha, sorry, that one went up before I finished it. short version: they're dime size now, so I'd hold them in their own tank until they're a good bit bigger before they share with small tetras. angels get big mouths fast and tiny tetras turn into snacks. listing covers the crushed flake and baby brine, message me for the rest.
finandfry no worries, that makes sense. i'll hold them in their own tank first then. are they eating the baby brine every day still?
pete yep, baby brine daily plus crushed flake, they go after it hard. listing covers the flake and brine so that's what i can speak to.
