Rotala colorata going pale pink instead of red, light or iron?
My colorata used to go a deep pink under the same light and now the top growth is washed out, almost peach. Co2 is steady, nitrate about 15, I dose a comprehensive twice a week. Is this more likely an iron issue or too much light bleaching it? Photoperiod is 7 hours.

Peach tops usually mean light is a bit high for the iron you're giving. I'd drop the photoperiod an hour before changing ferts.
I'd test iron first though. Low iron plus lots of light is the usual combo, and bumping iron slightly fixed mine in a week.
Ok, I'll bump iron a little and trim the photoperiod to 6.5, changing one thing at a time. Thanks both.
colorata does that when iron drops off, good call changing one thing at a time. give it a couple weeks before judging.
