Same plan here, live blackworms or baby brine a couple times a day, and a clean water change daily with a little salt if the fins are shredded. Keep the lights low so she isn't stressed.

Following this, I'm still a few weeks out from my first spawn so good to know the live food routine. Does the salt in the water change matter if her fins aren't that bad?

I only add salt when the fins are really shredded. If she's just a bit torn, clean water and live food does the job, salt is optional.

Good to know on the salt, I've been skipping it unless the fins look like ribbons. She's eating blackworms fine this afternoon, so I think she's bouncing back.

Glad she's eating. Mine bounce back faster with a few days of quiet and no tank mates peeking in, so cover the sides if you can.

Seconding the cover idea. I'd also dim the room a bit for the first few days, a female that's been shredded likes it dark and quiet.
