Hornwort shedding needles after moving to a new tank
Moved a big bunch of hornwort from my fry tank into a 40 breeder with harder water and it's dropping needles everywhere. Is this normal adjustment or is it telling me something? Lights are on 7 hours, no CO2, gravel is bare so it floats.

Normal for hornwort, it sheds when the water or light changes. Give it two or three weeks and trim the bare bottoms, it'll bush out again from the tips.
Also scoop the needles out so they don't foul the water. Hard water doesn't bother it much, mine does fine at 10 dGH.
