Neos from the box are all hiding, how long till they come out?
Day three in the 10 gallon with moss and a couple catappa leaves, thanks to the advice in the other thread. Most of the group is tucked into the moss and I only see two or three grazing at a time. Is that normal for the first week or should I be seeing more by now? Sponge filter running, soil substrate, TDS about 150.

Normal. Give it a week or so, they come out more once the biofilm builds and they stop feeling exposed. Feed very lightly meanwhile.
Yep, and a dim tank helps too. Mine were glued to the moss for about five days before they started wandering the glass.
Same with my shrimp tank. Lights low and a handful of moss made the difference, mine were out by day six.
