Guppy grass doing the heavy lifting in my fry tub, anyone else use it as nursery cover?
Pic below of the guppy grass clump with newborn fry tucked inside. I stopped bothering with breeding traps and just float a big handful in the tub, the fry hide in it and the adults can't reach most of them. Only downside is it drops needles everywhere when I trim. Anyone running it with other fry or does it only work for livebearers?

works great for me with rasbora fry too. i trim over a net so the needles don't end up in the filter, saves a lot of cleanup.
good tip on the net pete. riverina i'd float it rather than plant it, it clogs up less and the fry seem to like the top layer.
