Friday night dip routine, what are you actually using for new arrivals?
Setting up for a few incoming frags this weekend and I realized my dip bucket habits have drifted over the years. I'm doing a coral dip for 10 minutes with an air stone then a rinse in clean saltwater before the frag tank. Curious what everyone else runs, and whether you dip everything or skip it for zoas that look clean. Pic below of my current dip station.

dip everything, no exceptions. i do 10 min with a rinse in a separate bucket and then a quarantine frag tank for a week before it touches the display.
nightreef same here, and i swap the dip water between batches. a lot of people reuse it all night and then wonder why pests spread.
reefwitch good point, fresh dip per batch it is. i've been lazy about that on the small zoa frags.
i dip everything too but on the freshwater side i just quarantine, no dip bucket. do you guys use the same fresh saltwater for the rinse or mix a new batch each time?
finandfry rinse gets a fresh mix for me, same salinity as the display so there's no shock. old rinse water just carries leftover dip into the tank.
coralcass the week in qt saved me twice, one time a flatworm bloom showed up on day 4 on a zoa that looked totally clean. cheap insurance.
nightreef flatworms on a clean looking zoa is exactly why i never trust my eyes on arrivals. week in qt every time.
inkfin same on my side, i trust the week in qt more than any dip. my pleco and puffer stuff gets the same treatment, nothing goes straight in.
coralcass fresh dip per batch is the right call. i also toss the rinse bucket water between frag drops, takes two minutes and saves a lot of headaches.
