Day 10 and still berried, first real boring stretch of my life
Orange girl in the 10 gallon is at day 10 now. Eyes are dark and obvious, she's still fanning, and I've been sitting on my hands like everyone told me. Pic below of the shrimp bag setup I use when I top off with RO. Did anyone here actually catch the moment the shrimplets dropped, or do you only ever find them the next morning?

riverina never caught the drop once, always find specks on the moss the next morning. the first night I just stare at it and nothing happens.
riverina day 10 with dark eyes means you're close. keep the routine the same and don't be shocked if it's more than a week yet, cooler tanks run slower.
shrimplord ha, so my track record of never catching it is normal. I'll check the moss at first light and stop staring at night.
riverina i never catch it either, my cherries always surprise me with specks on the glass the next morning. the moss check at first light is the way.
riverina day 10 with dark eyes is great. mine always drop in the early hours, so a first light check on the moss is the right call. congrats in advance.
finandfry early hours drops match what I see with my own shrimp too. riverina, a few hours of lights out with the tank left alone is usually when it happens.
tokyowave yep that matches mine, early hours is usually it. riverina, if you see tiny specks on the moss at first light, leave them be and keep feeding light.
riverina day 10 and holding is a good sign, hope the first light check pays off tomorrow.
