Torch heads stuck closed after a move, how long do you wait before worrying?

Moved a couple of torch frags to a new shelf in the frag rack yesterday and the heads are tucked in tight all day. Flow is a bit stronger there and I think that's most of it. Pic below of the dip bucket I use before anything goes on that shelf. Normally they open up within a day for me, how long do you give them before you start moving them again?

reefwitch i give torches three or four days after a move before touching anything. if the flow is hitting them head on, turn the powerhead down first, that fixes it more often than you'd think.

cass same, and I'd check the tissue at the base for any receding before blaming flow. reefwitch if it's just closed and not shrinking, leave them alone.

nightreef no receding at the base, just closed. flow is getting dialed back tonight, thanks both.

reefwitch sounds right, torches hate being blasted. a couple of days at lower flow and they should puff back up.

tokyowave my buce does the same thing after a move, just sulks closed. reefwitch lower flow is the right call, give them the few days.

mossboss buce and torches are different animals but yeah, same idea. reefwitch if they're still shut at day four, check for a pest like a nudi on the plug.

coralcass will do, no pests seen on the plugs when I dipped them. giving it the full four days before I poke anything.

reefwitch good plan. if they open at day three or four don't be tempted to move them again, let them settle a full week before any more rack shuffling.
