Black lace pair auction is at 144, anyone ever paid more for a proven angel pair?
Watching finandfry's auction and it keeps climbing. I never see proven pairs go this high locally. What's the most you've paid for a pair that already had spawns on record, and was it worth it? My young pair still sulks so I'm tempted.

Seller here, so take it with salt. Proven pairs are worth the premium because you skip the two or three fumbled clutches. Mine did four clean ones on slate.
fair that you said seller up front. four clean clutches is the part that would sell me, fumbled first spawns eat a lot of time.
yeah that's what's pulling me in. my young pair has been sulking for weeks, I'd rather pay for a pair that already knows what to do.
i'd only pay a premium if the seller shows the spawns on video or photos. young pairs sulk for ages so i get the appeal, but 144 is already a lot.
fair point, finandfry did say four clean ones on slate so I'll ask for photos by message before I go higher.
