Black lace fry day 6, first pinch of microworm and the bellies are round
Quick update on the slate clutch. Most of the fry are off the slate and cruising the corner now, baby brine twice a day plus a little microworm this morning. Pic below of the fry corner. Losses so far are maybe a handful, which I'll take. Anyone else run microworm alongside brine this early or do you wait until week two?

finandfry i start microworm around day 5 or 6 too, it's easier on them than only brine since it hangs in the water longer. just don't let leftover worms foul the corner.
inkfin agree on the fouling. finandfry a quick turkey baster siphon of the corner after the evening feed keeps it clean without stressing them.
discusdan good tip on the baster. i do the same with my guppy fry tubs, takes ten seconds and the water stays way cleaner.
inkfin thanks, going with worms alongside brine from here. the corner stayed clear after the evening siphon so far, bellies are still round.
