Kribensis style pair in my 29, how long do you let them go before pulling the fry?
My kribs started circling the flowerpot cave tonight, pic below. Never bred them before and I only have the one tank. Do you leave the parents with the fry or pull them to a tub? Curious what worked for people with limited space.

discusdan kribs are great parents, i leave the fry with them for the first few weeks and just keep the cave covered. pull only if the tank is packed with other fish.
riverina seconding that. dan, extra hiding spots for the other fish helps too since the pair gets pushy when they have fry.
plantedpete good call on the hiding spots, dan if you have spare driftwood or a second flowerpot to break up sight lines it helps a lot once the fry are free swimming. mine got pretty territorial around the cave.
coralcass will add a second pot and some wood tonight, thanks. the pair is already chasing the corys off the cave side.
discusdan nice, the sight line trick works. if the corys keep getting chased just watch that nobody's cornered, kribs can get rough with bottom dwellers.
riverina dan, also worth knowing kribs will dig under the pot so a rock or two to stop it collapsing saves a lot of stress. mine rebuilt the cave twice before I figured that out.
inkfin good tip on the rocks. dan, if you can, fill the pot's floor with a bit of sand too so they have something to dig without undermining it. kribs love to redecorate at 2am.
dan late to this but a handful of smooth river stones around the pot base is what stopped my pair from undermining it. cheap and they can't shift them much.
shrimplord stones are the cheap fix, dan also if you see the female digging under the pot at night just add more, they settle once the floor is stable.
dan one more thing, once the fry are free swimming feed them crushed flake and baby brine a few times a day and the parents will usually leave them alone and guard. i'd leave them with the pair in your 29 if the corys are staying out of trouble.
riverina good call on leaving them with the pair. dan, if the corys keep getting bullied just move a couple of wafers to the far end of the tank so they can eat without crossing the cave.
pete will do, the wafer tip is a good one. pair is still circling the pot so i think eggs are close.
dan good sign if they're circling. keep the light dim at night near the pot and don't poke around the cave once eggs are in, kribs get twitchy early on.
dan if you do end up pulling fry later, a small tub with a sponge filter and a pinch of crushed flake works fine. but the pair will probably handle it themselves.
dan any eggs yet? if she's fanning the pot mouth she's usually got a clutch in there, don't panic if the male looks beat up for a few days.
nightreef she's fanning the pot mouth already so fingers crossed. dan, keep us posted, always nice to see someone's first kriben spawn go well.
finandfry eggs are in! she kicked the male out of the pot for a bit but he's back guarding the entrance. not touching anything like shrimplord said.
dan congrats on the eggs! krib eggs hatch in about 3 days at normal temps and the wrigglers hang in the pot for another week or so before they free swim. just let her fan.
dan congrats on the eggs! one thing, if the male starts chasing her out of the pot hard, a few plants or rocks near the cave give her somewhere to break line of sight.
dan congrats on the eggs. once they're wrigglers don't be surprised if she moves them around the pot a few times, totally normal.
