Pearling photo from the rescape tank, is this too much CO2?
Lights on for about 5 hours and the stems are pearling hard, bubbles streaming off the rotala and some on the swords too. Pic below. Fish look fine, no gasping, but I'm running the drop checker lime green. Is this the sweet spot or am I pushing it?

Pearling on swords too usually means plenty of light and good CO2. If the fish aren't at the surface and the drop checker is lime you're probably fine. I'd watch them in the first hour of the photoperiod.
agree, and bubbles alone don't mean much, it's oxygen. I'd lower it a notch before lights out so the fish aren't breathing hard overnight.
fair, i'll drop it a notch about an hour before lights out. drop checker has been lime all evening so i think i'm close, just don't want to overshoot.
Another trick, check the fish right when lights come on and again at the end of the photoperiod. if they're calm at both you're fine, mine only got twitchy at the very end of the day.
