Anyone else's emersed buce start sulking right after you submerge it?
Bought a few emersed buce a while back and the moment I dropped them in the tank the old leaves went translucent at the edges. Water is soft, light is moderate, no CO2 on this one. Is that the normal emersed to submerged melt or should I be worried? Trying not to trim anything yet.

Totally normal, emersed leaves almost always melt back when you go submerged. Leave the rhizome alone and the new submerged leaves will come in over a few weeks.
agree with pete, just trim the fully clear leaves once they go mushy so they don't foul the water. the rhizome is what matters.
same experience with my emersed anubias, trim only what's clear and mushy. mossboss, give it a month before judging.
