Cryptocoryne melt a week after planting, wait it out or pull the dead leaves?
Pic below of the crypts i planted last week. Leaves went translucent and mushy on most of them but there are tiny new leaves at the base. Parameters are stable, so i'm guessing it's just the move from emersed. Do you trim all the melted leaves right away or leave them to feed the plant?

trim them once they're fully mushy, otherwise they just rot and feed algae. the new leaves are the good sign, they'll be submerged form and tougher.
agree, and don't uproot to check the roots. crypts hate being moved twice, just let them sit for a few weeks.
agree with riverina on not uprooting. i'd also keep root tabs a bit away from the crown for the first couple weeks so the new leaves aren't fighting a nutrient spike.
