Cat watches my planted tank every night, anyone else's pet losing its mind over the lights-out ritual?
My tabby now sits on the stand the minute the tank lights fade to moonlights and stares at the rasboras till bedtime. Pic below of her at it tonight. So far zero paws in the water but the lid is getting a lot of nose prints. Do you lid up completely or leave a gap with a cat around?

plantedpete full lid, no gap. my cat learned to hook a paw through a 2 inch gap in about a week.
brackishbabe same, a glass top with a small cutout just for the airline and that's it. pete, cute cat though.
pete my cat does the same with the sump light, she just stares at the glow. no paws yet but i put a rock on the lid corner after she nudged it once.
riverina brackishbabe full lid it is then. i have a diy wood lid with a hinged flap for feeding, she can't get under it at least.
