Day 8 and she's still berried, eggs look a little darker now
Quick check in on the orange girl in the 10 gallon. Made it through day 8 with the eggs packed tight and I can see eyes starting to show as dark dots now. Pic below of her from across the room, no glass tapping. Lights and routine unchanged. How long from eyed eggs until you usually see shrimplets?

riverina eyed eggs usually means a few more days, around day 18 to 21 total depending on temp. keep it boring and have some moss and a sponge filter ready for the babies.
riverina eyed eggs is the good part. mine dropped babies right around day 19 and you barely see them the first day, they hide in the moss.
brackishbabe same, mine were invisible until day two. riverina don't panic if you only spot two or three at first.
riverina plantedpete's right, don't hunt for them with a flashlight either. just check the moss in the morning and you'll see little specks hopping around.
riverina day 8 down and eyes showing is a great spot to be. I'd just keep the water changes tiny until the babies are out, a sudden swing now is what makes them drop early.
riverina fingers crossed for day 18 or so. i keep the lid cracked a little for airflow on berried tanks, mine seem to like it, but that's just my habit.
coralcass thanks, i'll keep the lid mostly closed though, my room air is dry and i don't want the water evaporating and swinging the TDS on her this week. day 8 passed so fingers crossed it stays boring.
riverina yeah topping off with warmed RO is plenty if evaporation gets noticeable. a cracked lid is fine in humid rooms but I wouldn't change anything on her now.
update from me, she's at day 9 and still tucked in tight. thanks for all the patience with my hourly checking, lights and routine staying exactly the same.
riverina good, day 9 with eyes showing is where you want her. sit on your hands for another week and the moss will do the rest.
