quick update for anyone watching, auction ends in about 3 hours. pair is eating frozen bloodworm and flake and has been in the same 40 gallon the whole time, no moves.

finandfry good to know they stay settled in the same tank. does the pair hold the slate territory hard against other fish or do they leave it alone once the fry are free swimming?

brackishbabe they hold the slate hard while the wrigglers are hanging and for the first week or so of free swimming, then ease off. in the 40 gallon they've had it to themselves so i can't speak to how they'd do with tankmates. listing only covers the four spawns and no clutch eaten.
