Betta female went hard on the nest, now what
My sorority girl keeps building a bubble nest at the surface and flaring at her reflection. No male in the tank. Is she just ready to breed or is this stress? She eats fine and her barring looks normal. 20 gallon heavily planted, 5 girls total.

Totally normal, females blow nests when they're conditioned and comfortable. If she's eating and not shredding fins on the others, leave her be. Add more cover if the flaring gets pointed at one specific girl.
ok good, no fin damage at all. there's a big java fern clump near her so i'll add another plant by that side. thanks!
