Bristlenose fry in the breeder box, how long before they stop hiding all day?
First time a super red bristlenose has spawned for me. Wrigglers absorbed the yolk about a week ago and they're now tiny dark commas stuck to the side of a cave in the 40 breeder. I only see them at lights out. Is that normal or should I be worried about them eating enough? Feeding crushed zucchini and a bit of algae wafer.

brackishbabe totally normal, bristlenose fry hide for the first few weeks and graze at night. zucchini and wafer is perfect, if the bellies look round with a flashlight peek after lights out you're good.
finandfry thanks, that's a relief. i'll do a flashlight peek tonight and see if the bellies look round.
brackishbabe congrats on the first spawn, super reds are such a nice morph. mine stayed hidden for about three weeks and then suddenly they were all over the glass.
